Having completed my education and electrical apprenticeship in Germany, I then emigrated to Canada in 1965, settling in Montreal, Quebec. There, I fulfilled a three-year apprenticeship as mandated by the law. Initially, I ventured into commercial electrical work, gaining valuable experience. However, my passion lay in residential electrical services. I transitioned to working with a small contractor, focusing on house and light commercial wiring, troubleshooting, and repair services.
I used to be on-call round the clock, seven days a week, addressing late-night emergency calls. After some years, the lure of the West Coast's weather and skiing led me to relocate. I started working with the IBEW union, engaging in commercial projects and collaborating with residential contractors.
Starting my own electrical business in Turkey, I've thrived for over thirty years by embracing challenges, gaining new clients, and nurturing long-term relationships.
